Wisco '18 Fall was EPIC!

Wisco '18 Fall was EPIC!

Back from Northern Wisconsin after 6 weeks of fishing and guiding. We left it all on the table. It was an epic fall to say the least. I broke my personal best twice, clients got into fish everyday, and my GF landed 3 muskies in a few outings.

I dont know what else to say other than I can not wait until Sept ‘19 heading out there. I will be booking guided musky trips from mid Sept till the end of October in northern Wisco starting this winter

On a local note, these rains here in CT and New England are flooding the rivers. I was so excited to get back home and do some local pike fishing and guiding. Might have to wait a few weeks for the rivers to come down. The water temp is perfect for big fish, Lets all pray the rains stop for the rest of November.

Great Weekend in Vermont- Pike Madnees

This past weekend was a pike frenzy fishing in Vermont and the tribs of Lake Champlain. Kate and I fished two half days and boated 8 pike, had follows, and lost a few. Yes, that happens, single hook debarb flies do shake loose.

Needless to say we had a blast, gained even more experience, and appreciated all the pike gods had to offer. As I know so well, every predator fish you get to interact with is a blessing. It is not everyday fish show up while on the water, each experience is a gift. I am excited to continue to explore new water!
